It is that time of year again... Super Bowl weekend! It is time to break out the Nacho dip, chips, wings, and bandwagon fan gear. Even if you do not like the actual game, or you hate both of the teams playing, you have to enjoy some aspects of this weekend... the commercials... the puppy bowl... the half-time show! If you are an avid fan, you are busy reading up on the hot topics of the day. You have no doubt checked your twitter 100 times to find out if there are any new injuries to report or if Richard Sherman has been running his mouth... again!
Today - you are going to become Super Bowl experts. What are your predictions for this weekends game? Who will win? Who will play well? Who will simply fizzle out and have a lackluster performance? Things of that nature...
Be bold! Make your predictions and stand by them! Do some research to back up your opinion! Read some other blogs/ sports writers' opinions... let the world know what you think, and then post it! After you have posted, read a few posts from your classmates. Choose 3 people to comment on their predictions. Do you agree with them? Do you disagree? Have they made some crazy ridiculous predictions that are in no way coming true? Give them some insight on your opinions whether or not your opinions match up!
Homework: This is a tough one... you are going to... watch the SUPERBOWL... at least part of it since it is on very late! You will be writing a follow up post on Monday about the final result. Take some notes if you need to... don't want to forget that amazing Pepsi commercial? Write it down! Anything and everything goes! If Peyton Manning is only in 1 commercial during the game and you are totally floored by this, write it down and tell us about it! You don't have to take notes.. obviously... but you may have some things that you are just DYING to talk about!
