One of the jobs of a sports writer, is to conduct interviews and turn the interviews into articles. Today, you are going to conduct 2 interviews in class and turn the interviews into 2-3 paragraph articles to be posted on your blog.
1) Come up with a list of at least 5 questions to be asked in the interview. These should obviously be sports related. They can either be in regards to playing a sport, or watching sports. You will need to turn in a hand written copy of your questions and the answers.
For playing: What has been the best sporting moment you have been a part of?
For watching: What has been your favorite moment in sports that you have seen live?

2) After you have developed your 5 different questions, you will interview 2 of your classmates. Write down their answers so that you can use what they have said in your response.

3) Turn their answers into a mini article about that person. This should, as always, contain an engaging title and opening sentence. It should be thorough and thoughtful. These should be at least 2 paragraphs. You will obviously need to insert your own information into the article about the person and perhaps the interview itself.

20 points - 10 points per article posted on your blog

Today's overall grade is out of 30 points. This is in preparation for a larger interview to be conducted later.
